Waiting for a violet sunset

-" Sweet, sweet Empress, I fear there is no way for me to rip you from my heart and soul."
"The spell of you weighs heavy on me"
"Why do you pull me towards you soo deeply so thouroughly?"
"Will I ever be free of this longing for you?"
"As always you remain silent not declining nor accepting"-

Lord Thade to the Violet Empress at the Fortress Courtyard

Small fragment taken from a parchment log in the fortress many libraries, it is rumored that after this she looked back at him and smiled and at that moment he knew he would forever be under her thrall.

Warnings of the darkness

"Once I wrote about the coming darkness and that all should be on their guard, for now  i have remained hidden from all that would silence me for giving my warning for the coming troubles, hidden in the streets, hiding in gutters or alleyways, people heard the warnings but did not listen to the despair, I pray they may understand soon

As my, self imposed, exile in the streets continues more often do I see the agents of madness scuttle about the city infecting our people, some even notice that they have been observed but always I return to the shadows before they can see me back

My hope is that we will be able to resist their pull when they strike and at that time that my help may once again be needed."

Entry found scribbled on a piece of parchment found in a bloody cloak, it is believed to be from Lord Thade Archmage in exile

Descent

I shall once again traverse the darkest space and corridors of my mind, it has been too long since last I walked those halls yet even in my denial of them those dark corners still sent horrors to me, to torment the stability that I had become so reliant upon, it is time to reclaim the madness that belongs to me and rip it away from the shadows of my fears and my anger.

I shall delve once again in the pit that is the fortress of my regrets and stare deep into the abyss
